Course & Playing Experience

The Royal is a true test of accuracy and patience. Undulating fairways and tiered greens make for demanding approach shots, while water hazards come into play throughout the round.

Highlights include the 14th hole, a 409-yard par 4 that demands two strong shots to reach in regulation; the narrow par-5 15th with water bordering both sides of the fairway; and the famous 16th hole with its Mickey Mouse-shaped bunker. The par-3 17th, stretching to 230 yards from the back tees, is considered one of Bangkok’s toughest.

Despite the challenges, the course is fair and immaculately maintained, with fast greens that roll true year-round.

The Royal Golf & Country Club features a spacious clubhouse with modern locker rooms, a pro shop, and a restaurant serving Thai and international cuisine. Practice areas include a grass driving range, putting and pitching greens, and practice bunkers – making it easy to warm up before your round.
