Koh Phi Phi

For many years, Phi Phi Islands was a relatively overlooked paradise until the movie ‘The Beach’ starring a young Leonardo DiCaprio was filmed here.

Although the islands are no longer untouched, they are still one of Thailand’s most beautiful marine areas.

Snorkeling, diving and sailing are high on the list of activities, but otherwise it is the life of the lovely beaches that entices, and it is not least worth jumping on a longtail boat and sailing out to some of the less busy , surrounding islands.

The famous movie scene Phi Phi Lei is well visited on day trips, but when darkness falls, visitors find their way back to the main island, Phi Phi Don, where there are plenty of restaurants, shops and life in the capital of Ton Sai.

The weather on Phi Phi is best when it is winter in Denmark from November to March, and it is not recommended to travel from July to October, when there is heavy rain.
