Course Design & Playing Experience

Designed by Phil Ryan and opened in 2007, Black Mountain features 27 holes laid out over rolling terrain, rock formations, and natural creeks. The East, North, and West nines offer variety and strategy, with each loop delivering its own test of shot-making. Greens are fast and true, fairways generous but well-protected, and every round here feels like tournament day.

Signature holes include the par-3 11th with its island green feel, and the challenging par-5 18th finishing in full view of the clubhouse. The course is playable year-round thanks to Hua Hin’s mild climate and benefits from coastal breezes that keep conditions pleasant even in the hotter months.

Practice, Play & Facilities

Black Mountain boasts one of the best practice facilities in Southeast Asia. You’ll find a grass-tee driving range, chipping greens, putting areas, and even a short-game school.
