Gassan Legacy Golf Club is one of the most exciting golf courses in Chiang Mai, located just 45 minutes south of the city. Formerly known as Gassan Lake City, the course was completely redesigned by the acclaimed Schmidt-Curley team in 2014 and is now a modern 18-hole layout that fits perfectly into tailor-made Chiang Mai golf holidays and longer Thailand golf packages. Course & playing experience

At 6,403 meters the course is not the longest, but it is among the most demanding in Chiang Mai. Nearly every tee shot brings water into play, while strategically placed bunkers punish wayward approaches.
The five par-3 holes vary from short 110-yard shots to over 180 yards, while the par-5s include both reachable risk/reward holes and demanding doglegs. Highlights include the island green at hole 7 and the dramatic S-shaped 17th.

Clubhouse & facilities

The slightly quirky clubhouse offers everything you need for a relaxing day out – restaurant, pro shop, driving range, equipment rentals and even night golf with newly installed floodlights. While not the most modern, it is more than adequate and a good place to recap your round.
