The tour starts at 08:00 or 13:00 from Tara Hotel in Bangkok. Transport to the meeting point is not included, but taking the BTS Skytrain to Phrom Phong Station is an easy solution – from there it’s just a short walk. Upon arrival, your English-speaking guide will introduce the route and make sure your bikes are adjusted comfortably.

From Local Neighborhoods to Colorful Markets

Once everyone is ready, the adventure begins as you leave the main roads behind and cycle straight into the heart of Bangkok. You ride through one of the city’s older districts, where everyday life unfolds right outside people’s front doors. Locals greet you with smiles, children wave curiously, and you get a real look at the authentic Bangkok.

Along the way you pass narrow alleyways, railway tracks, and small wooden bridges leading across canals and past houses on stilts. A highlight of the route is the vibrant Klong Toey Market – a bustling local market filled with fresh fruits, vegetables, spices, and all the colors and sounds of real Bangkok life.

Across the Chao Phraya River to “Bangkok’s Green Lung”
