A picturesque Jack Nicklaus-designed championship course. The course offers the best layout in Pattaya and one of Thailand’s absolute best courses.

Laem Chabang has a total of 27 holes spread over 700 acres, where each of the three 9 hole courses is very different and independently living up to their names Mountain, Lake and Valley.

The rolling hills of the surrounding landscape have been used to great effect and almost every hole offers many dangers and hazards all the way to the green. Bunkers and water represent the natural hazards complimenting the rock formations, lakes, ponds and streams. Each tee box has a sign describing trees and bushes nearby. The large, undulating greens are mostly high and well protected by large bunkers.

The “Mountain Course” is 3446 yards and plays very hilly. The opening hole require you to drive the ball through a small opening in the lush vegetation, but there is more space out there than you would think.

The “Lake Course” 9 is 3419 yards in length with water at play on most holes.

The “Valley Course” is the longest of the three and is located at the foot of the surrounding mountains.

These different playing conditions allow all golfers a challenging golf course in a variety of terrains. The course is beautifully maintained and a great clubhouse with excellent facilities and accommodations are a great supplement to it all.

This top-class course is a “must” play for all golfers in the Pattaya area and should be included in all Pattaya golf vacations. As the distance from Bangkok is about 1.15 hours, it can easily be played from Bangkok.

Note that the buggy is mandatory on the course. Buggy is not included in the price but is to be paid directly at the pro-shop.
