Siam Country Club is one of the most famous golf courses throughout Thailand. The course was built in 1971 and is the first privately owned course in the country.

The course has over the years hosted a series of international tournaments including the 2008 and 2010 Honda LPGA Classic. As expected of a top course, Siam Country Club Old Course is in excellent condition regardless of the season.

Siam Country Club Old Course is located in the plains a few kilometers from Pattaya and could be mistaken for lying in an orchard with its many fruit trees, bushes and plants. Another characteristic of the Siam Country Club Old Course is its many bushes and hedges trimmed out like animals.

You play past a number of lakes and strategically well placed creeks at both the front and back nine. Long straight drives are required to hit the often narrow fairways. The big trees at Siam Country Club often get in the way and will punish errant drives immediately.

Greens at Siam Country Club are mostly big, fast and of course excellent maintained. However, they can be difficult to read so be sure to get help from your caddy.

Near the turn of hole 9 a large golden Buddha sits, supervising the green.

Siam Country Club Old Course has many bunkers, water hazards and dramatic holes.

The last four clearance holes are among the very best in the area and can truly punish anyone who loses concentration. You should not give up even if the game seems lost. Many things can change here.

Siam Country Club Old Course is one of the best courses in Pattaya and competes with Laem Chabang Country Club in being the very best.
