PADI Open Water Course in Koh Tao (3 days)

Enrolling in this course provides you with fundamental skills for deep-water diving, specifically scuba diving. The program encompasses both classroom and in-water sessions, concluding with an examination for PADI Open Water certification. This accreditation enables you to dive not only in Koh Tao but also at dive sites worldwide, with a maximum depth of 18 meters (or 12 meters for Junior Open Water Divers under 13 years old).

The Open Water level, equivalent to Level 1 in some organizations, serves as an entry point for scuba diving and is suitable for beginners without prior experience. The course, conducted over three days in Koh Tao, Thailand, grants the independence to dive to a maximum depth of 18 meters.

For divers aspiring to enhance their skills, the Advanced Open Water course is the next progression. This level allows an increase in depth limit to 30 meters and includes various adventures to refine diving capabilities. Subsequently, divers can explore additional specialty options and work towards becoming a Master Scuba Diver.

If time is a constraint or you’re uncertain about your interest in diving, you can opt for Discover Scuba Diving. No swimming skills are required, and an experienced instructor accompanies you underwater, providing the option to practice in a pool for increased confidence.

Day 1:
09:30 Theory in the classroom with our instructor
11:30 Lunch break with a view at our dive center
13:00 In-water training either in the pool or in the ocean

Day 2:
09:30 Theory in the classroom with our instructor
11:30 Lunch break with a view at our dive center
13:00 Your 1st and 2nd open water dives exploring Koh Tao dive sites
17:00 Return to the dive center

Day 3:
07:00 Your 3rd and 4th open water dives exploring Koh Tao dive sites
11:00 Lunch break and debriefing with a view at our dive center

Requirements for PADI Open Water Course:
Participant is at least 10 years old at the time of the experience
Participant is physically and mentally healthy (PADI medical form may be required)
